Navadir al-amsal [with Types of food by Nadir Mirza], late 19th century
This collection consists of two books on food and food science. The first is written in Arabic and divided into several chapters. The second text is a cookbook written in Persian, begun on 7 February 1875 [1 Muharram 1292] and completed on 2 November 1883 [1 Muharram 1301]. The first page includes the author's extended genealogy and a table of contents. According to this note, the author Nadir Mirza was born in April 1827 [Ramadan 1242] in Astarabad and is the son of Badi’ al Zaman Qajar (Sahib Ikhtiyar) and Jahan Sultan, daughter of Muhammad Taqi (Hisam al Saltanah), son of Muhammad Quli...

Bayan al-tibb
Bayan al-tibb is a medical textbook written by Hubaysh ibn Ibrahim Tiflisi in the 6th century AH. This book includes three parts: the first part is about medical sciences; the second is about simple foods and drugs; and the third concerns complex foods and drugs. The author dedicates Bayan al-tibb to Malik Shah, son of Qilij Arsalan Saljuqi. Six copies of this manuscript exist.

Qurutab-i badinjan
This treatise is social criticism written in the form of a comical story that is set in the month of Khurdad of the year 1289 AH in Tehran. The manuscript was rewritten on the 4th of Safar in 1348 AH by Mirza Sulayman Shaqaqi at the request of its first writer ʻImad al-Saltanah.

Essay on old medicine and other essays
The first part is the book of medicine. The next part is on mines and the third is on jams. The last part, is Aristotle's book on horses. On the last page, there are a number of names and dates of birth, probably belonging to the children or grandchildren of the owner of the manuscript. The first date is 1854 and the last is 1898.

Travel journal
ʻAlaviyah Khanum Kirmani's travel journal. ʻAlaviyah Khanum, ʻAli Khan and a few others went on Hajj and made pilgrimages to the shrines in Iraq. On the way back to Iran, she visited a number of cities including Tehran and the Nasiri Court. This travel journal was written by ʻAlaviyah Khanum Kirmani. On the first page of the book (this page was written by ʻAli Khan at the request of ʻAlaviyah Khanum), ʻAlaviyah Khanum noted that she wrote this book because she missed her husband and also to record these events in history. The author's actual name is not known and "ʻAlaviyah Khanum Kirmani"...
